Petition Title: Demand the Right for Daria Danilova and Michel Tsiba to Compete in the Olympic Games!
TO: The Netherlands Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF) and relevant governing bodies
We strongly demand that Dutch pair figure skaters Daria Danilova and Michel Tsiba be granted the right to compete in the Olympic Games.
As of December 6, 2025, they are ranked 14th in the world. They have secured one Olympic quota spot for a Dutch figure skating pair.
However, the Netherlands Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF) presented a very strict condition, stating that they could not compete unless they met a minimum score of 173.89 points at one of two competitions designated in advance.
They have had to compete this season under immense pressure. As a result, their performance has been far from their true potential.
The ISU's standard for pair skating Olympic qualification is 19 teams, and the required Combined Total Elements Score (CTES) is 75.00. Danilova and Tsiba's CTES at the Golden Spin was 88.10 (SP 35.39 + FS 52.71), which clearly and sufficiently exceeds the ISU's requirements.
It is incredibly unreasonable that this pair cannot compete in the Olympic Games.
Despite their remarkable achievements and having rightfully secured an Olympic quota spot for a Dutch figure skating pair, the Netherlands Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF) has yet to grant them the opportunity to compete in the Olympics.
The World Ranking of 14th that they maintain is a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and the potential to represent the Netherlands on the world stage with pride.
