Around end of July 2026, BTS has faced disrespectful treatment at the Grammy Awards, where they have been put into separate category and not given the recognition afforded to other artists.

BTS deserves to be acknowledged not only for their undeniable talent but for their contribution to the global music scene. They have inspired millions and have shown that music transcends language and cultural barriers. Yet, their repeated dismissals show a systemic resistance to change that cannot continue unabated. The Grammys must take steps toward inclusivity by giving BTS the respect and recognition they have earned.
