We did it!  2,000 signatures.

To every student, alumni, family member, faculty supporter, and person who shared this petition: thank you. What started as a conversation among students has grown into a movement that clearly shows how much this issue matters to the Baruch community. Students deserve the opportunity to walk across the stage and celebrate the years of hard work, sacrifices, late nights, commuting, balancing jobs, family responsibilities, and everything it took to earn this degree. Commencement should be a moment where students are recognized and celebrated for their accomplishments.

At this time, we still have not received a formal response or update from the administration regarding student concerns and requests for an in-person commencement walk. We encourage everyone who supports this movement to respectfully reach out to the Baruch administration and university leadership to express why an in-person commencement matters to you. Whether you are a student, alumnus, parent, faculty member, or supporter, your voice helps show that this is a community concern and not just an individual one.

Please continue sharing this petition and spreading awareness. Every signature, repost, email, and message helps amplify the voices of students advocating for the opportunity to walk and celebrate this milestone together. 2,000 signatures prove that students care deeply about this issue. Let’s keep the conversation going and continue showing that Baruch students deserve the opportunity to walk and be celebrated. 💙
