Hundreds of thousands of people, Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents and Terporary Migrants alike, are being forced to remain outside Australia, away from their lives and their families. 

This is a problem that reaches beyond the scope of what we currently face. The actions taken by the Australian Government go against the Human Rights and Constitutional Rights that same Government swore to protect.

Whether you are an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, International Student or a Skilled Migrant, the truth is that we are being denied our right to enter Australia. And that is made possible by a temporary measure (the Biosecurity Act) never meant to be uphold for more than a month.

For those who insist it is a breach of security to let us in, all you need is good Quarantine Procedures in place to stop any virus from spreading, even if it enters the borders. You don't need to keep us out, all you need is good Quarantine Procedures. 

All you have in place, 1 + 1/2 year after the Pandemic began, is the same Emergency Quarantine Procedures developed in under a week and proved insecure and unreliable by constant failure. 

Don't blame us for wanting to return home. Blame the Australian Government for failing to implement measure that allow is entry while also making it impossible for the virus to leave any Quarantine Facilities.

Australians forget that 1/3 of their economy depends on International Students, they forget that half of their skilled workers are Immigrants, they forget that every day the Travel Ban is still in place they lose $203 Million and a further $8 Billion for every month it remains so.

They forget that Australia's magnificence lies on its Cultural Diversity and International Connections. 

And so our requests for entry are constantly denied. The evidences for our need to enter Australia and fulfilling of requirements never enough. We've all been denied entry by the simple fact that we are Temporary Migrants, however skilled we may be.

This is a fight for our very Rights. It is about what type of country we want to be and what Values and Rights we uphold.
