It’s so upsetting. After a heart attack, two strokes and the death of my mother - my Dad is now fighting a battle with Lendlease. They want to evict him from his home because they say it’s not profitable.

This heartless company has just reported a full-year profit of $698 million - yet they are still putting business before lives.

Greed is leaving my Dad and his friends high and dry - the apartments will be demolished and they will be left with nowhere to go.

Dad relies on his friends now that mum is gone, but all 33 of them living in this block will be separated. He is devastated.

The comfort and companionship that his home has provided him since the loss of mum and him falling ill is invaluable.

It sickens me to think that he’ll have to move somewhere else.
