UPDATE 7/19: Hanford Ca City Council to discuss feral cat issue hot on heals of Lemoore's discussion. Hanford police Chief Parker Sever said he will be presenting the Hanford City Council with a feeding ban ordinance similar to Lemoore’s sometime in the next month or so. He said the ordinance is currently being reviewed by the city attorney. *************** The Lemoore City Council will discuss an ordinance that makes it illegal to provide food or water to feral cats in their city. This is an inhumane act and a poor attempt to solve for a feral cat problem. Let them know there are better solutions to resolving this issue in their community with education and spay & neuter programs.
