On July 19th the City Council of Lemon Grove passed a resolution making Lemon Grove a “Welcome City” for Immigrants, Refugees and Asylees.  This was done  behind closed doors, without input from the citizens of Lemon Grove, and with no media coverage.  This is a direct violation of public trust and the proclamation is very misleading.  

This resolution is a scheme to flood Lemon Grove with as many refugees, immigrants  and asylum seekers.  These people are often from areas dominated by terrorist groups and drug cartels, who may have reason to want to infiltrate into the US.

The Welcome Cities is organized and funded by open-borders groups to push cities across the country to accept and promote resettlement of un-vetted, so-called refugees.

The residents of the City of Lemon Grove oppose this resolution and are demanding that Mayor Mary Sessom and the Council Members retract this resolution.  We do not welcome un-vetted refugees coming from areas dominated by terrorist groups. 

We are seeking your assistance to help prevent this act against our City by signing the Petition.  Our goal is to gather as many signatures as possible and present it to the Council Meeting of the City of Lemon Grove on October 18, 2016.
