Human and Animal rights are inalienable rights that the U S. professes to promote. However, this is not the case.

Thousands of innocent, healthy animals are neglected, tortured and killed daily. They are killed in animal shelters, in factory farming and slaughterhouses, and by individuals without consequences. Mostly, money making horrible acts of cruelty.

It is not euthanasia as we know it meant for the few terminally ill animals, but brutally and inhumain killing, without any compassion (lacking proper medical and injection techniques and in horrid gas chambers). Many just thrown on top of each other for effecacy. Imagine the terror. 

People are not aware due to lack of transparency and accountability. "No Kill" right now is not necessarily NO KILL. Only legislative changes, education and transparency will effectuate change. This must be done above local levels as local politics and money keep these practices going. 

Let's please come together as a country to help those trying to help animals, now one by one (an impossible task) and follow other countries that already have truly NO KILL SHELTERS.

Inherent in the definition of "shelter" itself, is to protect, care for and save from danger.

Life is precious and these animals have no voice, are vulnerable and innocent, have feelings (listen to and watch a mother and baby cry with fright as they are cruelly pulled from each other) and are considered property under the law.

We need to unify and help save these thousands and thousands of lives.
