Our Inuit Elders are being sent out to Ottawa and other places outside their communities. We need our Inuit elders to live their last years in their home town with their families. We need to open ones that are already existing in Baker Lake and Iqaluit. We need to build new ones ASAP.

We also need to fix a basic social house or building for 24/7 elder care in communities where needed now ASAP.

Government need to plan now to train 24/7 care givers for each community.

Government need to make plans now to sent the Elders back to their Communities.

We need the Nunavut Government to make this a priority.
