The dark days of winter are upon us, and I must begrudgingly admit that our initial momentum has waned. We must, however, keep focus on the urgency of our cause. This is not merely a tongue-in-cheek criticism of an absurd social convention. This is about life and death.
Recent studies indicate lack of sleep caused by DST transitions have deleterious effects on out philological health, our moral compasses, and motor vehicle accident rates. While this is all well established, sleepy DST proponents vaguely grumble about tradition and poo-poo efforts to fix a fatal flaws in the status quo. "It's all too much to deal with!" they whine, "I'm feeling so angry and morally compromised and I don't know why!" Of course, ideology keeps them from the truth. They are left in the darkness of early morning when Spring DST hits and they are unable to see the light.
This Spring let's renew our push for Fallback 23! Preparation starts now. Go out and create a buzz. There must be anticipation around this cause, an immanency, an acknowledgment that this is how it should be. Go forth! Spread the word.
