I have a personal story to share. As a kid, riding dirtbikes was more than just a pastime. It was a thrilling outdoor activity that allowed me to explore, navigate, and improve my skills. However, the limitation that only individuals above 16 can get a license meant that kids and adolescents like me could not ride their small dirtbikes around. Not all of us have the luxury to practice or play in tracks daily, yet, our love and enthusiasm for riding remain undiminished.

Therefore, through this petition, we propose to legalize the use of dirtbikes of 85cc or less as a mode of street transportation without the need for a license for those under 16. This move will not only facilitate outdoor activity but will provide an alternative method of transportation while promoting skill development among youth.

While safety concerns may arise, it's important to mention that according to a study by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau, off-road motorbiking accidents among children significantly reduced when they were allowed to ride in more controlled environments, like streets (ATSB, 2002). Therefore, we believe the benefits outweigh the risks involved.
