Petition updateLegalize Low-Speed Vehicles on Columbia, Illinois City StreetsSignatures for ballot measure

Hey everyone,

I’ve been in contact with the Monroe County Election Board and they advised me we need 5% of the last voter turnout to place an advisory question on the ballot. The City of Columbia would have to place the measure on the ballot after the advisory question was answered. It’s a long silly process but an avenue to get it approved. 5% of total registered voters of 7,672 is approximately 383. I’m guessing we’d need less than that since it’s based on number of votes cast rather than total registered voters. Keep this going and remember to SHARE!
