Legalize Airsoft in Australia

The issue

Airsoft, as a sport, was unheard of at the time of the 1996 National Firearms Agreement, but is still allowable. Generally, it is played in a similar fashion to Paintball, the objective being to 'tag' opposition players. There are also other disciplines of Airsoft including IPSC & 3 gun type competitions. Due to the non lethality of the sport, there is no reason why it shouldn't be available to players/competitors in Australia. I request that all Police Ministers consider the health, social & economic benefits of this sport & allow it under their individual state legislation.
