First congratulations Canada! The second country in the world to make Weed Legal...true moral leadership. I'll stand AND sing your National Anthem the next time I hear it... Now back to New Zealand where we have only the second referendum ever to be held anywhere in the world on legalisation of Weed to get done.To get done soon. The question that keeps being asked is just what folks will vote upon...well it needs to set the tone for a health based approach to all drug addiction... There should three options: 1. Depenalisation, which means drug use remains illegal but instead of users being prosecuted users are referred to social or health services. 2. Decriminalisation of marijuana and ALL other drugs, which means there is a formal relaxation of the laws with criminal penalties such as prison removed with only fines and or health referrals made. 3. Legalisation of marijuana and the decriminalisation of ALL other drugs. This will mean that there can be no penalties for the use, production, growth and supply of Marijuana. Marijuana would be regulated like tobacco or alcohol. Decriminalisation of all other drugs will mean that only fines or medical referrals will apply for the use of any other drug. Just a short note this time...much more to follow very soon...all about One Love... Please reshare... Cheers David
