I believe with how our state and town is changing in self-defense, openly carrying a sword will be a great determent in criminal activity and excellent for self-defense. Swords are part of history, they're beautiful and unique, with the size of the blades it can be scary to see someone walking around with one. With the sword sheathed at all times unless needed for self-defense, it can ease the worries. We can also provide events where we can teach people and kids about the history of specific swords, and display them for people to see.
