The current laws of states and countries are not focused in protecting and providing legal and social support to women and girls. If more laws were emplaced to uphold the human rights and safety, the lives of millions if not all women and girls would improve. In this petition we are focusing on battling the lack of laws preserving the safety for those affected by the misogynistic mindset of our societies. 

If things stay stationary, women will continue to be murdered and femicide will be labeled as passion-driven crime, girls will continue to be forced into child marriages, trafficking and modern slavery. The effects of social misogyny take place not only in developing countries, but everywhere.

We want to stop being afraid! Afraid of anyone that comes across our way, in fear of them being a predator. Afraid of walking in our town, or neighbourhood.
