Have you been a victim in Donald Trump Jr's. Australian tour that never happened? Did you purchase your tickets, but still no refund? Have you also been from interstate/overseas and had to pay for flights, accomadation and other expenses when finally arriving to only find out Trump Jr. has postponed for a 4th time now? 

We are here to simply look for some form of compensation or a class action. If you're a person that has purchased tickets for the Trump Jr Live Australia Tour, then you would already know of his 4th postponement. If you're someone who was from the other states or overseas where his tour wasn't happening or even a different township, then you have most likely paid for travel expenses and should be entilted to get some back as for the unorganised, unprofesssional and ridiculous postponements that Donald Trump Jr. and his team Turning Point have done to many ticket holders. 

Here is a little back story of how this happened from start to now. 

 

On 24th of May 2023 Don Jr posted a video to his Facebook stating he'll be doing a speaking tour in Australia coming July 9th 2023. Sydney on the 9th, Brisbane on the 10th then Melbourne on the 11th. However due to visa issues and the Australian government only approving his visa just 24 hours before he was to board a flight left him and his team no choice but to postpone. Which is fair enough, however!

New dates came in September. 25th of September in Brisbane, 26th of September in Melbourne then 27th in Sydney. However again postponed, but due to scheduling conflict. That's all the information we ever got, question is what conflict?

Moving forward Ticketek Australia set the new date to be the 10th of December for him in Sydney, however Ticketbud had the other state tickets. This time it was gold coast instead of brisbane and melbourne still on the list. So again the 3rd postponement happened moving the dates forward by one week. Ticketek Australia refusing to change the date from the 10th of December to the 15th and 16th, which caused a lot of confusion for ticket holders.

Moving forward new dates were set for 13th of December in Gold Coast, 14th of December in Melbourne then 15th and 16th of December for Sydeny so two shows instead of one this time in Sydney. 

This was confirmed by Ticketbud and the event organiser Turning Point Australia. May I add a quick note if you attepted to get a refund through either Ticketek Australia or Ticketbud or Turning Point Australia. It is one of the most difficult things to do as they have a high level of lack of communication. 

Bringing us to now, Turning Point Australia & TicketBud annouced the following on Tuesday 5th of December around 15:30 - 16:00 10 days before Trump Jr was to be in Sydney. This was the following message. 

 

"Dear valued ticket holder,

We hope this message finds you well, and we truly appreciate your ongoing patience and understanding. Unfortunately, we find ourselves in the regrettable position of having to inform you that Don Jr.’s tour, will be postponed until early next year.

We understand the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause, and we sincerely apologise for any disruption to your plans. The new dates for the tour are currently being finalised, and we expect to make an announcement next week regarding the updated schedule for 2024."

 

In my opinion we are not valued ticket holders. If we meant that much value Trump Jr would of done his tour by now. And again not a single reason why he postponed again. This leaves me to think he really doesn't care for us supporters.

Even his so called speical guests haven't posted anything or spoke about the tour. And Trump Jr. hasn't acknowledged his postponements or even spoke anything about it. The only thing Trump Jr has been ranting about is Hunter Biden nearly every week on his socials.

 

We must take some legal action to all the expenses ticket holders have lost when attempting to attend Trump Jr's tour. Either if its flight tickets, hotel expenses, transportation, bookings and even your ticket for the Trump Jr Live Tour. 

The people has been affected deserve some form of compensation.

So what does this mean moving forward?

 

I myself am a major vicitim and I will be speaking to some legal aid this month, and see if there is any possibility to get something back and same with other ticket holders.

 

What can you do?

Please sign this petition, the more signatures the more this movement can be recognized.

Please contact your ticket group either Ticketek or Ticketbud to get your tickets refunded and get your full refund back. Especially if you paid the extra for security on the ticket like I did. (Please note these ticket companies are lack of communication, so keep phoning them until you get your money back. DON'T GET ROBBED) 

Please moving forward speak to some legal advice, as mentioned if you're a vicitim in this by spending money on the travel cost, you may can get some sort of comp back. Depends, at least try like what we are doing.

 

As for Donald Trump Jr! Just stay in America, no point in coming to Australia and mucking us all around. Waste of time, money and resources.
