In light of the frequent incidents with SMRT and the lack of remedies by LTA and Ministry of Transport, we as general public and residents of Singapore believe strongly that it is time for Mr. Khaw to take a deep bow and resign as Minister of Transport. It is time to look for a better candidate who is strong willed and assertive enough to change the existing culture in both LTA and SMRT. An organisation is only as strong as its leader. From the many incidents with SMRT thus far, we can see that Mr. Khaw does not have the leadership elements and is not assertive enough to get SMRT to perform. It is wise for the prime minister to select a new talent capable to lead LTA and SMRT out of this mess.
