We Lebanese Citizens in Lebanon and abroad,

Amidst the atrocious ongoing Israeli war on Gaza, and its regional repercussions:

Firmly believe that Lebanon should not be dragged into war. Refuse that our sovereignty be hijacked while our country is used as a battleground for proxy wars.

Call upon the Lebanese government to uphold its responsibility in defending the country's national interest and protecting Lebanon and the Lebanese, particularly at a time when our social and economic capacities have eroded.

Stand by the Palestinian people’s right to an independent state, their right of return, and sustainable peace. Call on the international community to push towards an immediate ceasefire.

Firmly refuse to be dragged into another cycle of destruction and bloodshed, potentially inflicting insurmountable damage upon all the Lebanese.

We stand together, united to protect our country, by saying: No to war.

نحن المواطنات والمواطنين اللبنانيّين، مقيمين ومغتربين،

في ظلّ الحرب الوحشيّة التي تشنّها إسرائيل على الشعب الفلسطيني في غزة، وما يلوح في الأفق من امتداداتها الخطيرة على المنطقة ككل،

ندعو إلى عدم انزلاق لبنان نحو حربٍ مدمّرة جديدة، ونرفض مصادرة القرار اللبناني عبر الاستمرار في تحويل البلد إلى صندوق بريد للقوى الإقليميّة.

ونطالب الحكومة اللبنانيّة بتحمّل مسؤوليّاتها السياديّة في الدفاع عن المصلحة الوطنيّة وحماية لبنان داخليًا وخارجيًا، خصوصًا بعد الأزمات المتتالية التي تُصيب مجتمعنا،

نقف مع حق الشعب الفلسطيني بدولته المستقلّة، وضمان حق العودة والسلام العادل، وندعو المجتمع الدولي إلى الضغط من أجل وقف فوري لإطلاق النار،
نرفض الدخول في دوّامة عنف ودمار يتحمّل تبعاتها المجتمع اللبناني بأسره ويخرج الجميع منها خاسرًا.
