The Fraser Coast Fishing Alliance Inc. applauds Mark Furner
and the Annastacia Palaszczuk Government for pushing forward with the Sustainable Fisheries Strategy recommendations as proposed by their working groups.

In particular, Regional Zoning and Regional Quotas - these changes will be critical to ensuring we achieve the outcome of restoring our inshore fish stocks to 60% of their original biomass as the key objective under the Sustainable Fisheries Strategy.

Please ensure you ask your candidates if they also support these changes if elected - we cannot afford to have these changes rolled back or "disallowed " going forward ...
