I find it very disappointing how the ADC role has been getting weaker and weaker over the past few years because Riot has continuously increased the overall damage in the game. At this point, almost every champion is able to deal the same amount of damage as an ADC.

Mages, for example, can now be played on the bot lane just as effectively as ADCs, simply because they deal equal damage, while also having access to crowd control and other utility abilities. In many cases, they even end up dealing more damage than ADCs.

This is not how the ADC role is supposed to function. ADCs exist to provide consistent damage for their team — but right now, they are unable to fulfill that role. I strongly believe that Riot should re-adjust the balance of the game to give ADCs back their proper identity and importance.
