"For example, Henry "Adam Bomb" Polanco was an All-Almont league Quarterback at Schurr his freshman season on Varsity. Watching this young man whom I'd call a peer and future leader for Latino's in sports, his play level has declined due to the lack of coaching, planning, and execution. This young man is a very bright star who deserves a coach who can harness his skills and allow him to prosper in the football world. It's time to bring change to the East L.A. community, it's time for Garfield to be atop of the Division 1 standings and not a lack-luster tune up game for the power house schools. East L.A. please do this for the kids, for your kids, for our brothers and our loved ones to prosper and be successful in life through education and football.
