I set myself the goal of 1000 signatures so tonight we have passed that and I am thrilled. A few days ago I was sent a message to say "I understand why you are doing this but don't expect it to change anything" I was so disheartened by this especially as it came from another mother. Tonight though I strongly disagree with that opinion, starting on Monday I will ferociously circulate this petition to the Taoiseach, HSE and all necessary Ministers and TD's highlighting that all parents in my position have a huge volume of support behind us and that despite their disinterest in assisting these children to have a voice we will advocate for them.
