This past Wednesday, April 10, 2019, the Committee on Appropriations referred AB44 to the "suspense file", thus putting the bill on hold. Please help ensure AB44 and rabbits are not forgotten. We need the bill to pass without amendment in the Committee on Appropriations next month, so it can go on to a full Assembly vote.

The bill's author, the sponsors and the Assembly member Marc Levine who introduced the proposed amendment to exclude rabbits, are receiving updates at every milestone.
