🎮 Bring Back the Games We Love
A Petition to Revive Dead and Forgotten Games
🧠 Why This Matters
Gaming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Not just a way to pass time, but something I’ve genuinely connected with. It’s been my escape, my way of relaxing, a space to laugh with friends, meet new people, and be part of something beyond the screen.
But over time, a lot of the games we loved just disappeared. Some shut down completely. Others are still online but feel abandoned—no updates, no support, barely a player base left. It's a weird feeling watching something that once brought so many people together slowly fade into nothing.
For a lot of us, it’s more than frustration. It’s that quiet sadness when something you spent hours on is just… gone. You think about logging back in, but it’s empty. Or worse—it doesn’t even exist anymore. And honestly, it feels like no one’s doing anything to stop this from happening over and over again.
🌐 What I’m Trying to Do
I want to do something instead of just watching more good games die out. That’s why I’m working on building a platform—an actual website where we can organize, vote, and gather people around one goal: bringing back the games we care about.
The idea is simple, but powerful:
- Let people nominate and vote for discontinued or dying games
Build a focused community around each one. - Connect with developers, studios, or work on fan projects (if legal and possible).
- Create a space where people with skills—devs, artists, writers, network engineers—can come together and try.
- It’s not about begging companies to notice us. It’s about showing them we’re still here. And if they won’t act, maybe we can.
💼 Who We Need
I’ve got experience in advertising and video editing, and I’ll bring everything I can to the table. But this is a group effort. If you’re passionate about games and want to be part of something meaningful, we need you.
Here’s who we’re looking for:
Developers (Unity, Unreal, etc.)
Web designers and backend builders
Artists (2D, 3D, animation)
Writers and lore creators
Community managers and Discord mods
Legal help (for safe use of game IPs)
Streamers/content creators to help spread the word
Anyone who just cares and wants to help in any way
You don’t need to be a pro. You just need to care enough to show up.
🧩 What Can Be Revived
There are so many games that didn’t deserve the way they went out. They had great ideas, loyal communities, strong potential—but they got shut down, left behind, or forgotten because of things that had nothing to do with the actual game.
We’ve seen amazing games disappear due to publisher decisions, budget cuts, or just bad timing. Some were killed before they even got a proper chance. That doesn’t mean they’re gone forever. If the community is strong enough—and willing to put in the work—there’s always a way back. Whether it’s through partnerships, reboots, or fan projects, we can revive what mattered to us.
🗣️ Why This Isn’t Just Nostalgia
This isn’t about clinging to the past for the sake of it. It’s about recognizing the value of what we had—and doing something before it’s all gone. Some games failed because they were ahead of their time. Others just needed proper support. But we’re in a different time now. We have the tools, the people, and the internet to build something powerful out of community effort.
There are people out there—right now—who would do anything to play their favorite game again. People who have skills but no direction. People who just need a reason to believe it's possible. Let this be that reason.
✍️ Sign. Share. Support.
If any of this resonates with you, please sign the petition. This is how we show the world that these games still matter. That we’re not just players—we’re communities. And we’re not giving up on the things that gave us so much joy, creativity, and connection.
Whether you’re a developer, an artist, a fan, or just someone who misses the energy of a good online game with good people—this is your chance to stand for something that matters to all of us.
Let’s not wait around hoping things change. Let’s change it ourselves.
🔥 One Last Thing
This doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t have to be huge. But it has to start. That’s what this is. A start. A way to say: we’re here, we care, and we’re not ready to let go of the games that shaped us.
So if you’re reading this, and even one game comes to mind that you wish could come back—join us. Let’s build something together. Something real.
About Myself :
hey, i’m immanuel christo — most people online know me as criznuel. i’m 18, from chennai, india. i speak both tamil and english, and right now i’m a college student trying to balance studies with the stuff i actually care about. i’ve always been into games, ever since i was a kid. over time, i also picked up a love for cooking, fitness, and creating things. i’m not the loudest person in the room, but i like doing my own thing, and when something matters to me, i go all in.
recently, i started working on an idea for people who miss the games we used to play — the ones that just disappeared or got abandoned. i’m building a space where players can come together, try to bring those games back, and maybe even build something new out of them. right now, it’s just me trying to get it off the ground — no team, no outside help, just time and effort when i can spare it.
if you’re someone who enjoys games, you’re welcome to sign the petition and show support. and if you’ve got skills — coding, design, community building, anything creative — and can communicate well in english, i’m open to people who want to help shape it into something real.
i don’t know how far it’ll go, but i’d rather try than do nothing.
