The last 3 weeks have been a whirlwind of activity!   

First, our petition went viral on May 26th, and we started receiving over 1,200 signatures a day for 7 days, and as of today, reached almost 16,100 signatures!

Thank You all for your signatures and comments, because YOU HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE!

Yesterday was the Niagara Regional Councils Planning and Economic Development meeting, and we are so happy to say that the parcel of land where Last Chance Horse and Pony Rescue and Sanctuary currently resides, has been recommended to be removed from the Niagara Official Plan!

The Report will be finalized and approved on June 23, 2022.   If no changes take place, we will be able to declare a Victory!  This will mean that the land that LCHPR resides on will remain agriculture.
