Join Us: Rally, March, and Council Meeting Tomorrow! Monday, May 15, 2017

Reminder! On Monday, May 15, we will gather as a community to celebrate our diversity and Langley's potential to become an Inclusive City, where no person is detained or discriminated against based on their religion or immigration status. As most of you know, Langley's draft Inclusive Ordinance has been stalled, while cities all over our state move toward strong, local, Constitutional protections for immigrants and Muslim Americans. Though those towns and so many others have stood firm, Langley is lagging behind. When Trump asks Yakima or Burien or Bainbridge or Mercer Island to turn over their undocumented or Muslim American neighbors to his administration, the answer will be no. We must continue pressing for the critical protections in Langley's Inclusive Ordinance, and ensure that the answer in our community will also be a resounding "NO."
