Important Agenda Items: Please Come to the Langley City Council Meeting Monday 6/5

The agenda for Langley's 6/5 Council Meeting includes two topics of critical importance to all of us who support real protections for those members of our community most vulnerable under the Trump administration: - Council candidate interviews and appointment. Members of the Council will interview the three applicants who've filed to temporarily fill the seat recently vacated by Rene Neff. They'll then go into Executive Session for discussion before returning to appoint and swear-in the selected candidate. The new Councilperson could have a vote in Langley's decision about whether or not to pass the Inclusive Ordinance. We must turn out to show our support for progressive candidate and Inclusive City supporter Christy Korrow, who is vying for the temporary appointment, and who has also declared her candidacy for the same seat in the November election.
