This is a brief note to wish you and your families a very happy festival - Happy Pongal, Lohri Makar Sankranti, Magh Bihu wherever you are.

A heartfelt thanks to 14267+ supporters of my petition, I thought of giving an update on my petition drive.

I was praying that my ex-serviceman father’s prayer for approval of the land registration would come through before this Pongal, but it seems to be dragging on further due to some unknown bureaucratic snafu. I have been appealing to Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri. Basavaraj Bommai, and Bengaluru Deputy Commissioner’s office for a speedy review of the pending issue.

I continue to be optimistic after reading a recent an article in Deccan Herald, Karnataka Chief Minister @BSBommai has set a 3-month deadline for automatic land conversion.

The article quotes Sri Bommai “In addition, there are thousands of revenue cases pending in tahsildar and assistant commissioner courts across the state. These are cases pending for close to two decades. At the pace it is being resolved, these cases will take another four years to be disposed of. We will appoint more tahsildars, assistant commissioners and support staff to dispose of the cases soon.”
