This petition is becoming a reality

Thank you all for signing this petition a couple of months ago. I'm excited to say that it's now developed to become a full legal case! Seeing the support for student compensation at Lancaster and across the country, I have contacted Leigh Day who are working on a lawsuit against university authorities to get our money back according to our consumer rights. The case is not just about the money - it's setting a precedent that students deserve the same consumer rights as anyone else, and if we are paying a ridiculous amount of money for university education then we are entitled to a refund if it's not provided! The case is strong but if the university decides to dispute it we'll have to go to trial. This will cost a lot of money and we will need to raise funds to make this happen. I've set up a Crowdjustice page which I'm hoping will spread across the UK (and beyond!) to raise funds and awareness of our case.
