In recent weeks, there has been a marked increase in e-scooters and bikes being ridden on Lambeth pavements and in Lambeth parks. These are a clear danger to our children: it is only a matter of time before large numbers are seriously hurt, or worse.

We urge the council to take immediate action, devising and implementing a plan to ensure that the law is properly enforced and to protect our children by keeping these dangerous vehicles off our pavements.

Our children deserve the right to be safe, and to be represented by a council that treats their safety as paramount.
