We received confirmation this morning that the opportunity for public comment regarding the Zoning Moratorium passed in the fall to the King County Council is happening on Monday January 8, 2018 at 1:30 PM. King County Courthouse, 516 3rd Ave 10th Floor. This is a critical time and date for those available to show up, and let the Council hear your concerns about the zoning of the lot along Hwy 169 for the proposed asphalt facility location. If you can attend and would like to speak, please plan to be there by 1:00 so you can register as a speaker. You will have 2 minutes to state your case, so make them count! The Greater Maple Valley Unincorporated Area Council has prepared comments that were submitted to the King County Department of Permitting and Environmental Review. This is a good document to reference for some of the key points that you may want to discuss in your commentary to the Council.
