It may be easy to think that the only real people that will be affected by the addition of the asphalt plant will be those who live in the surrounding neighborhoods off Maple Valley Highway. But the reality is, King County’s decision on this matter will affect everyone in King County. King County says that the Comprehnsive Plan is the guiding document of how development and governance occurs. Their own plan says that this lot should be zoned Rural Residential. Yet, if they allow this permit to be approved; they would be going against everything that they say they stand firm on! Please share this realization with all your friends and family who live in King County! Ask them to stand with us, King County needs to hear that all its citizens will work to hold them accountable.
