Hello Everyone,

Here is the article printed in the Herald and News on 9/30/23. We are asking for your honest feedback, thoughts and ideas. This is for all of us on Lakeshore Dr. and we cannot do this alone. We understand that it's scary to voice your concerns and understand your reasons to avoid conflict. However, nothing is going to change until we do somethig. We urge resident's to post more signs in their front yards. Many will be ignored, but some people will slow down. If we all post a few signs, prior to the eclipse event, maybe we can send a strong message? There are about 73 driveways on Lakeshore Dr. We want to empower you to use your voice, file complaints and post some signs. This is a collective effort that we can all participate in. Let's try to have signs posted before Wednesday October 11th, as tourists will be arriving soon.

Since the county commissioner's fail to protect the safety of humans, wildlife and animals, we're basically "on our own" until there's new local leadership. The Sheriff is trying his best, however has limited resources and funding. His hands are tied. Below are some contacts worth reaching out to. The more complaints the more impact we will have. Voting is in May 2024. Please urge people you know, and faith in, to run. Thank you for your support!
