Thank you so much for signing our Choose Hammarskjold petition! Raising your voice in support of Hamm will help show the Lakehead Board that people care about our school and see the value in it remaining open. If you know anyone who hasn’t signed the petition or made a comment yet, please encourage them to do so NOW! Next week, we will be sending our petition (including all comments) to the Trustees asking for their support of Option 2 (choosing Hammarskjold as the North-side secondary site and converting Superior into a new elementary school). So far we’ve collected over 1,100 signatures, but we would love to see that number GROW! Please share our petition with your family and friends and let them know how important their signature is! The second North Side Renewal Public Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 8th at 6:30pm at Hammarskjold High School. We need everyone to come out to show the Board and the media that people want Hammarskjold to stay open. Wear your Red and Gold and come listen, ask questions, make a comment or submit a written comment to the ARC committee and Board representatives.
