For decades WWCB 1370AM (and recently 94.1FM) has been a part of the Corry Community. In recent years various issues including the current pandemic has caused it to lose some traction and take some hits to its image.  All the while a small team of local paid employees and volunteers alike strived to raise the station to what it once was.  

Recently though LECOM Radio has purchased the station with plans to only use the frequencies and call signs to stream their own Erie based programs. This means letting go of the inviduals who worked so hard keep The Hometown Station running. LECOM wants to keep the Hometown Station slogan but not include the Hometown people. 

These Corry folks deserve better especially when they found out about all this on Facebook. Some were relying on the income from this job for income.  We need to tell LECOM TO KEEP THE HOMETOWN PEOPLE IN THE HOMETOWN STATION!
