Stop McKinnon Groves

Stop McKinnon Groves
The Issue
Lake Avalon Rural Settlement is a rural settlement on the verge of urbanization as greedy developers try to change our way of life for their own profit motives. Orange and Lake counties have approved the development of rural land into a mass planned community called Wellness Way. This community is expected to have 16,500+ homes and businesses. Lake Avalon Rural Settlement consist of homes on a minimum of 5 acre lots, as well as small family farms. Lake Avalon Rural Settlement is in the middle of this mass planned development. Former Orange County commissioner Scott Boyd along with several others are in the process of getting county approval for a 600+ planned community called McKinnon Grove. Not only does this development “McKinnon Grove” not conform to the Lake Avalon Rural Settlement current community standards of 5 acre lots but the traffic flow of 600+ residents will use our rural settlement roads and cause devastation to our community.
Please sign this petition and help us stop urbanization and keep our settlement rural.
