Reluctantly I have come to the conclusion that the goals of less development and less traffic cannot be achieved by working with the current Lafayette City Council. This November 4 Councill seats – a majority – will be up for election. I am considering running as a candidate for one of those seats – hopefully as part of a four candidate slate committed to less development and less traffic. I envision a campaign based on those issues rather than personalities.
