Over 500 and rising!

Firstly, again thanks to each and every one of you for signing my petition. I am sending this update because the number of signatories has now exceeded five hundred. This petition does not seem to have gained as many signatories as quickly as others concerning the Labour leadership controversy, but I feel affirmed every time someone new signs it. I am just an ordinary person and this is the first petition I have started, so perhaps I am not expert at sharing it in the places where it will be most noticed. I do urge you to share it as widely as you can, so that every potential voter in the leadership election has the opportunity to see it. I had some feedback about the wording, so I have changed “two-faced” to “untrustworthy” in case the former was too strong for some potential signatories. I would like to note that I was a signatory to Tierney Witty's petition which garnered over 16,000 signatories, but I have no idea why it was removed, sorry. I am reviewing every comment on my petition and removing any that could be in the slightest regarded as either misogynistic or homophobic. I do not welcome any such comments and I am sure the vast majority of signatories would not either. I urge you to moderate, temperate language in your comments. I understand that any potential voter in the leadership election may be subject to discipline if they use words like “traitor” on social media. Please be forthright, but do not get yourself into trouble. I will send a further update tomorrow detailing Ms Eagle's latest remarks as promoted by the mainstream media and analyse them for consonance with reality. Kindest regards.
