Please Invent Time Travel So That Someone Can Fix Up the Past 2 Years
The issue
Whilst I had been against starting up doing petitions about making Future Technologies like time machines a reality real soon, what's been going on in the past 2 years got me believing that time travel might be our only hope to do away with it, all to the point where the time to invent it is right about now, unless someone were to already own one that's not known of to the public. Of course time travel should have restrictions once it becomes a reality, and there are particular features that you'd never think of them having that they should have, what they are is not going to be mentioned in this petition, but I can say that they're to do with making sure they won't lead to any disasters and that you can be successful with whatever you went back in time to change. I’m not even the first person to’ve started up a petition about future technologies becoming a reality, though it probably wasn’t until this year when such petitions first came to be: https://www.change.org/p/nasa-build-a-time-machine
With what the world's first time traveller ends up doing to fix up these past 2 years, it can be a pretty easy guess.
The first thing to do away with is the most important thing of all, being the Coronavirus that’s still taking place even to this day. Doing away with it would result in this:
*Theatrical Movies that been set to release worldwide in 2020, 2021 and 2022 releasing on the day they were intended to.
*Vacations that families had in mind for 2020, 2021 and 2022 taking place as intended.
*Gatherings that had been due to take place in 2020, 2021 and 2022 taking place as intended.
*Events that had been set to take place in 2020, 2021 and 2022 taking place on the day they were intended to do so.
*Annual Events that take place every year having taken place in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
We live in the 21st century, therefore we were not made to face things like this. Life was better when years went the way they were supposed to’ve gone no matter what, and when impactful events don’t effect the whole world. Quarantining is in fact something that only contagious people should be doing. Even after stuff has been delayed, it tends to happen again continuously (either that or they get cancelled entirely), all to the point where things went on like stuff people had been booked to attend hadn’t actually taken place, and the films being delayed just when ready to release have been exceeding the limit with how long prior that film’s first trailer comes around. People have even always been wrong as to when Covid-19 would end with it still taking place this year, it’s likely that it’ll even do so into next year as well, there’s even been these things called “lockdowns” taking place a few times each year (of which is actually the wrong definition since lockdown actually refers to buildings being sealed with no way in or out), in addition to new variants of the virus taking place. Even when Covid-19 does eventually pass, think of all the damage that this virus caused:
*Films that never had their theatrical run as a result of the virus, important it is that studios that’ve only been known for theatrical films (in recent times) stay that way.
*Studios, businesses, companies and venues that closed down forever as a result of the virus.
*Jobs that were lost as a result of the virus.
*Someone’s once in a life time occasions and experiences that hadn’t taken place as a result of the virus.
*The runtime of certain shows (and the way certain episodes of those shows turned out in general) as a result of the virus to the point of either seasons having fewer episodes as intended or fewer seasons in general as intended.
*Stuff being cut from being featured in certain media as a result of the virus taking place at the time.
*The way that production and development of certain media has been effected as a result of the virus.
Time travel may be the only way this can be be fixed should it turn out that the damage caused by the virus is irreversible. Face the facts, the whole world is meant for doing this like travelling, attending events, having gatherings, being at where there can be large crowds, and even having something to look forward to each year. Going back in time to stop the coronavirus would not only have these past 2 years go the way they’d been expected to go and undo the damage caused as a result of the virus, but it would even stop future generations from knowing about it, and it would prevent 2020, 2021 and 2022 from being excluded from anything, especially when it comes to recapping the decade in 2029. As for how this can be done, the person that goes back in time to stop covid-19 from ever having happened to write a message in 2019 that is addressed to all markets in Wuhan, suggesting that they close down for the time being based on what the market owners are risking.
The second thing to do away with is YouTube’s partnership with the FTC that got COPPA enforced onto the site, thus ruining what YouTube is supposed to exist for. Details on what what the effects of COPPA are like can be explained of in these other petitions that I started up towards the end of 2019:
*https://www.change.org/p/ftc-ensure-comments-for-all-videos-are-as-they-were-with-all-prior-to-2020-still-being-there
During that time towards the end of 2019, we had been writing to the FTC on their website about how COPPA is a terrible decision to have enforced into YouTube based on what YouTube is supposed to exist for, right now I’m beginning to question if the FTC themselves even actually read any of that. There had even been a Congress Meeting in January 2020 around the time when COPPA started being enforced, unfortunately we never heard the results from it, the FTC never even had a second Congress Meeting at any point this year talking about how the first year of COPPA’s effect went and if it’s worth continuing. A time like that could’ve even been a time for senators and lawyers in Washington to partake in it, in addition to some concerned parents and people that actually have YouTube Channels.
With the effects of COPPA having gone into effect, there have started being videos that are missing their comment sections of the comments they received over the years, those videos can’t even be put into playlists and be given likes and dislikes either. All YouTube Videos are expected to be receiving comments, of which allows us to do stuff like sharing our thoughts on what we watch and see what others have to say, anything else that they’ve allowed meanwhile can’t be talked about in this petition based on how it’s a big list. After COPPA went into effect, there are YouTubers that either started avoiding YouTube or not using it that often, in addition to stopping with certain kinds of videos. There’s clearly a reason to why YouTube Kids exists, of which can be an alternate for parents that are concerned on what they’re children watch online, those parents who have YouTube Channels themselves even like sharing their thoughts in the comments of stuff that their offspring enjoy (as well as their own childhood experiences) as much as anyone.
Prior to COPPA going into effect, I contacted some people such as those that had been successful with protesting in the past so that they could help, unfortunately I never heard back from them. I also contacted Local Senators and Lawyers about taking action since they’d surely agree on what YouTube is supposed to exist for, in addition to contacting the FTC themselves on if they actually read anything that was sent to their website at the end of 2019, unfortunately I never heard back from any of them. As for what whoever goes back in time to stop YouTube from ever having partnered with COPPA could do, they can write a message to the YouTube Headquarters in 2019 about them instead going with something more reasonable that would still allow comments on all videos (even if they can only be read by those logged in) but those that the video owner doesn’t allow comments on like CPPA, in addition to showing them this that talks about the importance of YouTube Videos receiving comments and likes: https://www.qqtube.com/article/Importance-Of-YouTube-Likes?rewrite=Importance-Of-YouTube-Likes
Another thing to make sure of with YouTube Comments is that them having no character limit and being able to edit them is never done away with, in addition to the Comment Sections in general being more neater to the point where replies don’t count as their own comment, with those being among the improvements that came around in late 2013, all to the point where they’re still a thing to this day.
The third thing to do away with is the way Deviantart Eclipse ended up turning out, of which became permanent with no way of switching back to the more preferred settings in May 2020. Details on how Deviantart Eclipse ended up turning out and how it’s been a problem can be explained of on these petitions that I started up in 2020 after witnessing the settings myself for the first time:
*https://www.change.org/p/deviantart-please-make-deviantart-eclipse-less-complicated-to-use
What those problems it has are includes not working properly when the web browser it’s being used on is not up to date, and things being a bit more complex with being able to do. As for what whoever ends up going back in time to change how Deviantart Eclipse ended up turning out, they can send to the Deviantart Headquarters in 2019 this person’s version on how Deviantart Eclipse, of which should be able to result in it turning out like that: https://www.deviantart.com/fairloke/journal/My-version-of-DeviantART-Eclipse-773715578
There are also stuff that would involve going back in time to have done, of which I’m not going to mention publicly in this petition, plus they should only be done if changing the past doesn’t result in the entire universe being booted back to the moment where the past was changed in terms of how real life time travelling turns out, especially if it’s earlier then 2019. Of course once the first person to go back in time has done what he’s needed to do away with, he can make alterations to real life time travelling to prevent it from booting the universe back after having had his test run. Though if it were to turn out after the first time that the universe doesn’t boot back, would we have still had control of what we’d end up happening with us as a result from what had been changed through time travelling not having taken place?
Maybe real life time travelling could have a setting like that when it comes to those that had been affected by the time travel effects. Speaking of time travel effects, real life time travelling should also have a setting that enable stuff we’d done to still be done even after the past had been changed, therefore allowing stuff that people had ended up doing as a result of covid-19, COPPA’s effect on YouTube and the way Deviantart Eclipse turned out still being done. What’s important either way is that the only things done away with by the world’s first time traveller are the stuff listed in this petition of mine, and that he doesn’t do any time travelling after that for some time, whilst still keeping the time machine for if ever anything else were to take place in the years to come like an unreasonable update to a site that did away with an important aspect and/or made things more complicated, stuff that had been unreasonably abandoned from somewhere, certain stuff that our lives wouldn’t be the same without which began ceasing to exist, certain stuff that were actually good to have in life being outlawed and anything that stopped a year from going the way it was supposed to’ve gone. They shouldn’t however be used as a sole purpose for helping things like certain online petitions, seeing as they’re something that can easily be accomplished without time travel. Most importantly having a time machine should be able to ensure that within the next thousand years, all’s still doing well both with the human race and our planet in general.
