Learning about animal testing in cosmetics reveals the unnecessary harm behind everyday products, and companies like L'Oréal Paris must be held accountable for ending these practices. I would like for the company L’oreal Paris  to stop testing on animals when creating their makeup products.

 I realized the other week that the mascara I was using was not cruelty free. This mascara was from the brand of L’oreal Paris. This led me to go down a deep dive and see how horrible animal testing really is. Millions of animals a year go through testing each year. A lot of this testing is avoidable and unnecessary. 

After doing some research I have noticed that L’oreal is actually lying about testing on animals. If you look on the official Loreal website, they state that they do not test on animals. They do though. They are lying to their consumers. They are ashamed that they are testing on animals but yet they are going to continue to do it. L’oreal Paris is a top makeup brand. They have a lot of influence with how big they are. company is. They need to realize that they are ultimately taking advantage of their customers by lying about this. I would like for loreal to take accountability for testing on animals and hopefully just stop[ testing on animals as a whole.
