l'Atelier le Loft va être rasé... Please help !

Après 28 ans d’existence, l'Atelier le Loft à Bordeaux, laboratoire de création et lieu de vie de Deborah Bowman et Patrik Marty, va cesser d’exister.

Les promoteurs d’Euratlantique en ont décidé ainsi ; dans une optique de gentrification ils vont totalement détruire ce magnifique bâtiment de la fin du 18e, pour bâtir un immeuble de bureaux, et encore une fois jeter à la poubelle un lieu dédié à la création et à la vie culturelle.   

Pour espérer une sortie digne et professionnelle de cette aventure artistique et humaine, face au promoteur tout-puissant, nous souhaitons recueillir les témoignages de ceux et celles qui ont participé à divers titres aux expériences créatives du lieu. Il s'agit du patrimoine culturel immatériel avec 28 ans de participation à la vie artistique de Bordeaux.

Où vivre ? Où travailler ? Nous avons aucune idée...!

Au minimum signer la pétition : Il s’agit pour nous de mettre en avant l’importance qu’a représenté l'Atelier le Loft pendant ces 28 années comme outil de travail et de vie, et d’en fixer la mémoire.

Témoignages libres (commentaires - change.org) : Qu’il s’agisse d’une participation aux ateliers, aux workshops, aux cours à l'extérieur ; aux journées portes ouvertes, aux vernissages ; des visites professionnelles, privées ; ou aux diverses activités artistiques de Deborah & Patrik. Toutes ces activités ont eu leur source à l'Atelier le Loft.

C'EST URGENT ! Cette année, nous organiserons quelques journées portes ouvertes, une dernière fois avant de commencer de nouvelles aventures.

The Atelier le Loft is going to be razed... Please help !

LIFE AND SURVIVAL OF ARTISTS

After 28 years of existence, the artists' studio Atelier le Loft in Bordeaux, showcase and artwork laboratory of Deborah Bowman and Patrik Marty, will cease to exist at the end of 2021.

The promoters Euratlantique of the City of Bordeaux have decided; they will totally destroy this magnificent building of the late 18th century, to build an office building, and once again with gentrification trash a place dedicated to creation and cultural life.

We hope for a dignified and professional ending of this artistic adventure, and faced with the all-powerful promoter, we would like to collect the testimonies of those who have participated in various ways in the creative experiences of our studio. It is the " intangible cultural heritage " in the words of UNESCO, with 28 years of participation in the artistic life of Bordeaux.

YOU CAN HELP!

Sign the petition: For us it is a question of highlighting the importance that the Atelier le Loft has represented during these 28 years as a work place and home, and to fix its memory.

Testimonies (comments - change.org): Perhaps you have participated at the Atelier le Loft in workshops, classes elsewhere; open studio days, exhibitions; professional or private visits; or in the various artistic activities of Deborah & Patrik. All of these artistic activities had had their source at the Atelier le Loft.
