As many of you know, retaliatory killing is common in animal pounds. It's alive and well in the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control facilities as well. Want some proof? Less than 24 hours after I sent out a rescue plea to 18,000 people who signed this petition, they killed Fiona. Instead of waiting to see if a rescue or individual helped her, they killed her. And yes, I made sure all the executives at Los Angeles County Animal Control knew Fiona needed help. 

We are so sorry this was your ending Fiona but for me your death only makes me more motivated to continue to uncover the unethical behavior of animal pounds in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
