UPDATE ON OPENING THE SHELTERS!
The Los Angeles City Animal Pounds are open without appointments Tuesdays and Thursdays 8am-5pm and Saturdays and Sundays 11am-5pm.
The Los Angeles Pounds continue to operate by appointment Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am to 5pm.
I'll explain how this one happened AFTER we get the pounds to fully re-open without any appointments necessary. With this current COMPROMISE, I promised to hold off moving our protest to Los Angeles City Pounds for 30 days. Let's show Los Angeles City Pounds that being Open without appointments changes their adoption numbers. We must increase the traffic to our animal pounds during these new extended hours of public access without appointments needed.

The sheer number of seniors dumped at our city and county shelters is enough to crush anyones heart. These poor souls have been devoted companions… only to be left…abandoned in their final chapter Mr. Magoo and he is URGENT/Orange Alerted at North Central Animal shelter. He needs to be taken out of the shelter and to a Private Veterinarian as soon as possible!

***Per medical, Mr. Magoo is on ORANGE ALERT. He has until end of day TOMORROW 07/07/22 @ 4pm***
Behavior notes: Mr. Magoo was easy to leash and he walked out of the kennel and to the indoor meet and greet room slowly, with no issues. He walked around the room the entire time we were there. He did enjoy a treat. Another volunteer joined us in the room and pet him with no problems. #saveaseniordog
