Here is one story of hope happening on the streets of Los Angeles County.  Just imagine if our animal control services did this type of work for our local community. Today, we call and report abandoned or sick animals out of the street and no one shows up. What if Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control went out on our streets and saved the very lives they claim to care about?

Project Street Vet was founded by Dr. Kwane Stewart:
They don’t have to be human to be family. 10-25% of our nation’s homeless population have pets. Leading with compassion, kindness, and no judgements, our team is on a mission to seek out and assist these pets and people who need it most.

Project Street Vet was founded by Dr. Kwane Stewart, a veterinarian who over the past decade has traveled many city streets bringing veterinary care and supplies to the pets of individuals experiencing homelessness.

We need NEW leadership in Los Angeles County and we need it NOW.
