I am officially embarrassed to live in Los Angeles County. Please read Nathan Winograd's evaluation of Director Marcia Mayeda new effort to help Los Angeles County Homeless Animals by locking the community out. It's so embarrassing we continue to allow this misdirection of County resources. Is it time to start asking Director Marcia Mayeda to resign? It couldn't be any worse unless we had a global pandemic...oh wait...my bad. In times like these, we need to THROW THE GATES OPEN and beg the community to save lives and to stop surrendering their pets. And why in the world has Best Friends Animal Society and ASPCA endorsing her actions? As much as I love the ASPCA, I'm rethinking my financial support.
