We need to keep blowing up the phones and email accounts of our L.A. County Supervisors and The City of Los Angeles City Council Members. Here is a great form letter that Jill Laine invited us to use.

Dear esteemed LA Council Members,
I'm guessing when you go home at night to your family, some of your family members are beloved dogs or cats. And now, thousands of dogs and cats, which are potential family members for many Angelenos, are in need of our help via adoption at the local shelter.
When access to the shelters is limited, as stated in the new rule by director Marcia Mayeda, we are guaranteeing that many more of these animals and probable pets will be euthanized, which is not the direction we want our shelters to go!
It is ridiculous and absurd to not allow people to come to the shelter in person, or to have only one pet at a time to view. Although online access to these pets is wonderful, there is no way that every animal could possibly be listed on the shelter's website.

Our taxpayer dollars are used to fund these facilities, and we respectfully ask that they be opened to their fullest capacity so that the MOST animals can be adopted out, not the least.
I'm asking for you to do your part to set this right, to have Marcia Mayeda rescind this latest decision and open our shelters!
