He just informed me that Los Angeles County Animal Pounds plan to NEVER allow the general public "Open and Unfettered Access" to OUR ADOPTABLE animals EVER again. He made clear they will NEVER return to the open access we had before Covid-19.

He explained to me that during Covid-19, the executives who manage our animal pounds participated in online group chats with animal pounds executives from around the country. They shared different ways they manage their animal pounds. During these conversations, our pound executives were introduced to this "new way" of managing animal pounds. He explained to me that they are fully committed to restrict access to our animal pounds moving forward and that they will not negotiate with the public about returning to a system where the general public can gain access to our animals.
