Please join us for a CHAIN event to support local small businesses and in particular BlueLight Cinemas, Sunday, 10/8/2017 from 12 pm to 1 pm. The CHAIN premise is simple and works similar to a FLASH MOB, but we stand further apart (in a line, 3 "asphalt squares" between participants) and don't have to learn coordinated dance moves. After the first responders are in place, the whole event will be over in an hour. Idea is to catch the eye of community members at the Farmers' Market in Oaks Shopping Center or just on their way to running errands on a Sunday morning. CHAIN Info DATE: Sunday, October 8, 2017 TIME: Arrive at 11:30am for Meet-and-Greet near BlueLight Cinemas at the Oaks Shopping Center. (Allow plenty of time for parking since the parking will be tight due to the Farmers' Market ). Volunteers move into position along Stevens Creek beginning at 12 pm am on the sidewalk along Stevens Creek. Encourage passersbys to park their cars and join the CHAIN! If there are enough participants, we could split the chain to have another chain along Mary Avenue.
