           KKR টিমে বাংলার ভূমিসন্তান চাই

বাঙালি ক্রিকেট প্রেমী l ফুটবল খেলা বাঙালির রক্তে হলে ক্রিকেট বাঙালির হৃদয়ে l তাই এটা একটা আবেগ আমাদের কাছে l আর আবেগ থেকেই অধিকার বোধের জন্ম হয় lকিন্তু হিন্দি আধিপত্যবাদের দাপটে আমাদের চাকরি ব্যবসা পুঁজির সাথে সাথে খেলার মাঠে খেলার অধিকারও বাঙালির হাত থেকে যেতে বসেছে l
তার প্রত্যক্ষ প্রমান হলো কোলকাতা নাইট রাইডার্স (KKR) টিমে এবার কোন বাঙালি ক্রিকেটার কে রাখা হয়নি l
ক্রিকেট দলের নাম কোলকাতা নাইট রাইর্ডার্স রাখবে অথচ বাংলার ক্রিকেটারদের খেলার কোন সুযোগ রাখবে না সেটা মেনে নেওয়া মানে বাঙালি জাত্যভিমান কে আঘাত করা l বাঙালিকে তার অধিকার থেকে বঞ্চিত করা l

আপনারা জানেন বঙ্গযোদ্ধা বাঙালির অধিকার নিয়ে দীর্ঘ দিন ধরে লড়াই চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে l যেখানেই বাঙালি অপমানিত , বঞ্চিত, উপেক্ষিত হয়েছে আমরা রুখে দাড়িয়েছি l ভবিষ্যতেও রুখে দাড়াবো l বাঙালি হিসাবে নিজের অধিকার বুঝে নিতে আপনিও এই মহতী প্রচেষ্টায় অংশগ্রহন করুন l আমরা জাতি বিদ্বেষী বা ভাষা বিদ্বেষী সংগঠন নই l আমাদের স্পষ্ট কথা "বুঝে নেব ততটাই ,যতটুকু বাঙালির " l

আমরা KKR এর সিদ্ধান্তের তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানাচ্ছে l এবং সমস্ত বাঙালি ভারতীয়দের KKR এর সিদ্ধান্তের বিরুদ্ধে ঐক্যবদ্ধ হয়ে প্রতিবাদ জানানোর আবেদন করছে l
এই পিটিশনে সাক্ষর করে আপনিও বাঙালি হিসাবে প্রতিবাদে সামিল হোন l এই প্রতিবাদের ঢেউ এমন ছড়িয়ে পরুক যাতে শাহরুখ খানের KKR তাদের বাঙালি ক্রিকেটারদের ব্রাত্য রাখার ঘৃন্য সিদ্ধান্ত থেকে সরে আসতে বাধ্য হয় l

Bengalis are cricket afficionados. If football flows through the veins of Bengalis, cricket is in our hearts. Therefore, cricket represents an emotional connection for us. From emotion is born the sense of right. Bengalis are not only losing our rights towards employment business, and capital, squarely due to the tyranny of Hindi imposition, but are also losing out rights in sports.
A glaring example is that the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has no representation from among Bengalis.
KKR has chosen the name Kolkata Knight Riders but provides no opportunity for Bengalis to join the team. To accept this would be to accept an assault towards the ethnic pride of Bengalis. This is an act of denying Bengalis their right.
Bongojoddha strongly condemns this decision by KKR. Bongojoddha calls upon all Bengali Indians to come together in protesting this decision.
